Seeing familiar faces at 'Today' show in 2017

These days, Savannah Guthrie is on maternity leave from the 'Today' show. She is one of my favorite female anchors on tv, and she has been the main female anchor on the 'Today' show since 2012. NBC has decided to have Meredith Vieira and Katie Couric as anchors, during the first two weeks of January 2017. Meredith hosted the 'Today' show in 2013, and she was back on NBC in 2014 covering the winter olympics. Vieira was the main female anchor on the NBC morning show from 2006 to 2011. It is refreshing to see that Meredith will be back in the anchor's chair soon. Now, let's chat about Katie Couric. She was the host of the 'Today' show from 1991 to 2006. Since 2014, she has worked for Yahoo! as a global news anchor. Over the past decade, Katie has come back to the 'today' show to serve as a host. Katie has worked at ABC News, and CBS too. She worked at '60 minutes' back in 2009 and 2010. Finally, both of these women do work outside of journalism. Katie is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a renowned public policy think tank. Meredith has appeared in movies, and tv shows like '30 rock' and 'madagascar 2' movie. In closing, both journalists have impressive careers in journalism and tv/radio/internet too. Enjoy the picture above of both ladies from a 'today' show celebration, back in 2012. Looking forward to seeing both of these former 'today' show hosts in 2017.

December 2016 is end of Matteo Renzi era in Italy. Stunning political coup!!

Well, Italy is going through some tough times. Matteo Renzi is the youngest Italian Prime Minister, but he will be resigning this week. Renzi was Prime Minister for close to three years, yet December 4 is the turning point in his tenure in office. His proposals for constitutional reform in Italy, were met with a resounding 'No' vote. It is anybody's guess on who will be the next PM in Italy. Italy is the third largest economy in the Euro zone, most likely behind Germany and France. Furthermore, the elections could happen in January 2017 as the country braces for political turmoil. The political parties in Italy will have to work together to fix the electoral law. Matteo Renzi will continue to be the leader of the Democratic Party in Italy, yet he will resign his post of Prime Minister. The 2016 Italian constitutional referendum defeat signals the end for the former mayor of Florence. What lies ahead for Matteo Renzi? This year, politics has been a major topic of change in United States and Great Britain. Now, Italy is adding to the mix of a year of change. Economy Minister Pier Carlo Padoan is seen to be the next Prime Minister in Italy, but the elections could bring in another new candidate. President Obama was a big supporter of Matteo Renzi, as Obama supported Renzi in his last state dinner in Washington DC. Italy's banking system has been troubled for the past decade, and their political scene needs some new changes. Finally, the Five Star Movement has a clear ability to win voters on the left and right with a mix of social liberalism, economic populism and tough law-and-order talk. Will this party be the clear choice of change in Italy? The current European Union is not working, according to the Five Star Movement. Hopefully, these changes in government in Europe and U.S. will not lead their economies to falter further. The economies of these two regions need to be strengthened further. It is Italy's younger people that need to be employed, and they need to shape the right change for their economy. The picture above shows Matteo Renzi giving his resignation speech. Ciao Matteo!!

Donald Trump pulls off huge political upset. Hillary Clinton campaign loses again!

Last night, Hillary Clinton lost the presidency to Donald Trump. Donald got more than 270 electoral votes, and his margin of victory is monumental. He got the key votes from Ohio, Florida, and Texas. Many other states turned out to be deciding ones, for the billionaire businessman from NYC. Many newspaper outlets including CNN, CNBC, Fox News, and ABC were preparing for a Hillary Clinton victory. Heck, she had her victory speech ready on Tuesday night. Yet, the victory speech was thrown away. Donald Trump gave his victory speech this morning in New York. In 2008, Hillary Clinton lost the democratic nomination to Barack Obama. In 2016, she lost the general election to Donald Trump. Having a woman president in the USA is not going to happen, until 2020 or 2024. Where did Hillary Clinton go wrong, in her campaign over the past 2-3 weeks? She won three presidential debates, but FBI director James Comey wanted to do another investigation of the e-mail messages and server before the election. Could this problem be one of the reasons for her loss? Now, let's move onto Donald Trump and Mike Pence. Both of these people are polarizing personalities. Will Mike Pence be the next Dick Cheney? Dick was a ruthless, smart, and behind the scenes guy during 9/11 and the Afghanistan invasion in 2002-2003. According to many American historians, Dick Cheney is the most powerful VP. Donald Trump is known for the following buildings/casinos: Trump Tower, Trump Plaza, Trump Tower International Chicago, Trump Las Vegas hotel, the closed Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, and Trump 29 (which became Spotlight 29 casino). Will Donald be known for his eccentric policies, or these beautifully designed structures? Some eccentric policies are building a wall on the border of US, and Mexico. The 2nd policy is to eradicate Muslims from parts of the US, and the world. Get rid of ISIS, but how is he going to do it. Finally, which people will make up Donald's cabinet in 2 months? This final question is an important one for all Americans. Will Ivanka Trump, Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich, and Janet Yellen have jobs in the Trump regime? Janet Yellen may lose her job, as Federal Reserve Chair. Trump has echoed this sentiment a handful of times. If you have read these paragraphs, then you deserve a lot of credit. Enjoy the final picture of Hillary. If she would have won, the US would not think about recession but jubilation. Protests are happening in US cities, due to the Trump victory. Hope the Donald has one term in office only. Don't mean to be negative, but this opinion is shared by many successful Americans. Enough said!!

Final days before Presidential Election are here, and what to expect on Election Day

October is over, and the presidential debates ended quickly. There are six days left before Election Day. Four days ago, early voting was on my mind. Thank god, G. Ripley voted early. The line might have been an hour long, but early voting is the action that many Americans should do. As for Election Day, the general public will watch election results come in. Can Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump get a clear path to 270 electoral votes? For now, the early voting is helping Hillary Clinton according to CNN and other news outlets. The polls might show Donald has the advantage, due to the recent FBI investigation of 'private server' e-mails on Hillary. FBI Director James Comey might be seen as a hero, in the Trump campaign these days. Let's go back to the electoral college, and the elusive 270 that Donald is having trouble with reaching. Republicans continue to flip-flop on who they are supporting, but Paul Ryan is supporting 'the Donald' as the next president. This choice makes Paul a 'no-no' as the next speaker of the house, in my eyes. Finally, the expectations should be some presidential firsts for November 8. Hillary could be the first female president, and Bill Clinton would live in the East Wing in January 2017. He would be the 'first gentleman', while Donald could be the first billionaire president. Hopefully, Tim Kaine can be the vice president to walk into the White House in January 2017. It may not be a far distance for this Virginia politician. The suspense is six days away, and the TV networks will cover more news. Tune into different networks on next Tuesday. Hope you like the image of the red, and blue states of this country. Bye bye!!

Drinking wine from sancerre region, at La Bocca; plus some cool flirting at Murphy's Law

Last night with Primo Greenleaf, Rahulio Ganpuleone was doing his usual Friday night shenanigans. First, he drank some wine samplers. The first sample was a Eola Hills pinot gris wine, from Willamette valley Oregon. It was an ok pinot gris grape wine, but nothing worth writing on this blog post extensively. The second sample was a 2014 Gravitas blended wine, from bonny doon vineyard (Santa Cruz, ca area). The second sample was a better white blended wine, of the two. Rahulio settled on a sauvignon blanc wine from Sancerre wine region of France, at La Bocca. The sauvignon blanc wine provided a crisp flavor for me. It is a true winner in my sommelier world! After La Bocca, Primo suggested we go to Murphy's Law in downtown chandler for some more drinking and Live Music! We ventured into the bar, and a beautiful young seductive lady (YSL) asked us about drinks. She was our waitress, Kimmy. She was a younger vixen that had incredible blonde hair. All of these nice features of the waitress led Rahulio to do some flirting, at Murphy's Law bar with Kim. Drinking beer and listening to live music became another fun part, of the night. Primo G. took in the people watching scene. Rahulio kept flirting with Kimmy, as she is a high school English teacher in Chandler. Anyways, enjoy the picture above of the Sancerre wine region. Sancerre is a small city in the Loire valley. The picture provides a panoramic view, and this town is on Rahulio's list of wine valleys to visit. Au Revoir mes amis!!

Smoking one of Dumas favorite books, in San Diego plus some cool debauchery!

This past weekend, G. Ripley traveled to San Diego again for a friend's bachelor party. The weekend involved staying at a nice house on Mission Beach, with six other amigos. The first night involved good dinner (tacos and italian food), good drinks (Mionetto Prosecco wine), and good story telling by yours truly with the six amigos. Later, G. Ripley drank smirnoff ice and ballast point california kolsch to close out a fun friday night. For Saturday, the day started with friends going to the pacific ocean. G. Ripley decided to go into the water, and this foolish act resulted in getting jeans and orange nike sneakers drenched. The jeans were dried up by the end of the day. The next adventure consisted of a beer tour, of Coronado brewing company and Modern Times Beer. Both breweries were cool to check out, as Lars the tour guide gave us good tips at each one. At Coronado brewing company, 'Best X ever' and 'Jurata' were the samples tried by G. Ripley. At modern times beer, four samples were imbibed. Modern times beer was the best of the breweries, if G. Ripley had to choose one. The ambience sparked my interest, as did the beers. Next, the plan for dinner came to fruition as the 'magnificent seven' ate good japanese food at 'bang bang sushi' restaurant in gaslamp district. More wine was on my mind, as cakebread sauvignon blanc became the vino of choice. After japanese food, we moved onto mina lounge for hookah and drinks. The count of montecristo was smoked by G. Ripley, and this joke is lousy. One Montecristo cigar was smoked by G. Ripley, while other friends smoked hookah. The last stop on Sunday night was a beautiful artistic display of women at Pacer's international GC. The females were nice as usual. G. Ripley enjoyed the LA, as RSG enjoyed Catalina's lips. This subtle action of romance was a part of the debauchery. Finally, Sunday was a day to check out of the house. The trip was fun, and a memorable time for NV wolverine. His wedding will take place in less than five weeks. Check out the picture of Montecristo cuban cigar, as G. Ripley enjoyed smoking this one for a good 50 minutes. Peace!

Celebrating 4 decades young! Birthday of G. Ripley!

Two days ago, my friends surprised me for my pre-birthday dinner. Ms. Dutt and Primo Greenleaf pulled off the monster surprise. It was a pleasure for g. Ripley to spend time with his two friends (for the past many years). Apparently, Ms. Dutt and Primo had planned this surprise scheme for some time without G. Ripley's knowledge. After dinner at public station 310 restaurant in Culver City, the next destination was a nice speakeasy bar on Thursday night. G. Ripley had two concoctions, vodka Collins and tom Collins. Beautiful drinks plus dancing with Preena, beautiful Indian vixen; were part of a fun night. Yesterday, G. Ripley turned '4 decades young', and the time was well spent at universal studios Hollywood. 7 rides (harry potter, studio tour, minions, waterworld, Jurassic park, transformers: the ride, and the walking dead attraction) plus shows were part of my exciting day. Also, primo greenleaf got a hold of the pin for me to wear (40th birthday, Rahul) and free front of the line ride passes were part of the gift. The birthday was a day to remember for me. Who knows what will happen on 45th, and 50th year celebrations! Stay tuned! Enjoy the picture of primo greenleaf and the covert g. Ripley. Au Revoir Mes amis!!

G. Ripley's cool adventures in San Diego!

Well, two days in San Diego for labor day weekend was a trying experience. First, Kayaking at Sea Life & Caves Kayak in La Jolla Shores is the first activity G. Ripley tried. Unfortunately, Kayaking in San Diego was cool for 20 minutes then Rahulio got sea sick. Plus, stomach cramps hindered me too. Maybe, next time it will happen. Kayaking for 90 minutes was going to be part of my daily cardio today. My friend, Amit; was directing me in a tandem kayak. He was teaching me the right way to kayak, as you have to go left (to go right) and go right (to head left). It is an opposite direction thing, as you can see. The tour guide, Isabella; was a cute woman though. She did a great job of teaching me how to get out of the water, when my cramps started happening. After kayaking, Mexican food was the next stop in Del mar area. It was some good food, and good vino from central coast California for me. Yesterday, Ballast point brewery was the first spot for me to have some beer. At this San Diego based brewery in Little Italy, three women were flirting with me. There names were kat, atina, and kindle. Yet, they left after 20 minutes to smoke some cigars. Next up on the drinking parade is going to hyatt regency hotel in San Diego. Drinking erath pinot gris wine, and talking to some more females made it a good time. Plus, stealing the water glass is another thing that klepto rahulio did. Finally, Pacific beach for dinner was cool. Rahulio drank rose wine from South Africa at Barbusa restaurant in little Italy. This means Rahulio has drank alcohol from all six continents, over the past 19 years. Staying at the doubletree by Hilton hotel was not a good experience. But, this trip was about trying adventurous stuff. Rahulio enjoyed the walking to new bars and meeting new people. See the picture above. The quote is from Steve martin, one of the funniest Hollywood actors ever. The picture is taken from 40 floors up, at hyatt regency grand Manchester hotel in San Diego.

Rio Olympics end with controversy, but a success overall. Rahude gives final update on Rio de Janeiro games

Yesterday, the 2016 summer olympics concluded in Rio De Janeiro. The next summer Olympics is in 2020 in Tokyo, Japan. The summer Olympics did end with some controversy though. This topic will be touched on in the next paragraph. First, the final medal count shows the USA team as the leader in total medals (121). China finished 2nd, and Great Britain had the third most medals. The host nation, Brazil; won the team soccer gold medal. The gold medal game in soccer pitted Brazil and Germany, with Brazil winning in the penalty kick shootout. As for the controversy, athletes were robbed in Rio De Janeiro. An unnamed athlete from Great Britain was robbed during a night out in Rio de Janeiro. Dirk Van Tichelt won a bronze medal in judo, and he was robbed in broad daylight in Rio. Lastly, Ryan Lochte and three other US swimmers were partying the night away on August 13. Next thing you know, they got themselves into a huge mess dubbed as 'lochtegate.' Ryan Lochte, Jimmy Feigen, Gunnar Bentz, and Jack Conger were done with their swimming events on August 13. Ryan Lochte started the whole problem by tearing down a poster, and his friends relieved themselves in bushes. In the end, the four swimmers got themselves out of Rio de Janeiro. Two of them were taken off their flights, and questioned by Brazilian authorities. The good parts of the Olympics were Usain Bolt winning three gold medals in track, and the US team winning almost 30 medals in track and field in uncharacteristic fashion. USA got medals in marathon, 4x100 m relay, 4x400 m relay, and long jump by getting bronze and silver before winning gold medals eventually. The network ratings for nbc were down by 20% for these olympics, compared to London and Beijing 2008 games. As for 2024 Olympics, this decision should be made in 2017 or 2018. Los Angeles might get the games again, which would be a great win for the US hosting committee. Enjoy the picture above of LaShawn Merritt, and other US track athletes. Lashawn led the US men's 4x400 m. relay team to victory, and it helped to increase the US team medal count.

Live from Rio, it's Rahude with some olympic updates. Jeah!!

The 2016 Olympics are in Rio De Janeiro, and the games started on August 5. With only 5 more days left, Rahude is giving you some of his best updates. Update #1 is NBC has almost 6 networks working to give you Olympic coverage. There is cnbc, msnbc, olmps, olmpb, USA, and NBC channels (networks) that are delivering the events. Rio De Janeiro is 4 hours ahead of Phoenix, Rahude’s current home. Yet, Rahude is following the games and he is giving updates on whatsapp plus Facebook. In swimming, Michael Phelps won six medals (5 gold, 1 silver) and Ryan Lochte won 1 gold only. The rest of the men’s swimmers including Ryan Murphy, Conor Jaeger, Anthony Ervin, Nathan Adrian, etc. delivered gold and other medals too. For the women’s swimming, Allison Schmitt and Katie Ledecky won gold. Ledecky won the most medals for the women, and other females (Maya dirado, Leah smith, etc.) won in their featured events. Melissa ‘Missy’ Franklin could not relive her London magic, but she got one gold in the swimming pool. As for tennis in Olympics, Juan Martin Del Potro won silver and Andy Murray won another gold. Monica Puig won gold, and Angelique Kerber won silver. In men’s and women’s basketball, the US teams are doing well. But, there is no pure domination on the court. Update #2 is Rio Olympics are one of the lowest ratings games for the NBC family. In the final five days, the events ratings may turn around for track & field, and other final events. In track and field, Usain Bolt won a gold medal already in the 100-meter final. For now, Rahude aka Rahulio Ganpuleone is done with his updates. Look for some more final Olympic updates in six days. Rio De Janeiro games are done on August 21, and 2020 Olympics will be in Japan (Tokyo). Catch you later from Copacabana Beach!

Verizon buys Yahoo, early internet pioneer! How Marissa Mayer treated the company like a think tank?

Many people use Verizon as a cellphone provider. It is the top carrier over the past 3 years, as the company beats AT&T wireless at their own game. Now, Verizon is getting into the website domain space as they bought Yahoo for $4.8 billion last week. Where does Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer go, after Yahoo is acquired? It is hard to say. In her four years as Yahoo CEO, she treated the company as a 'think tank' than a sinking ship. Marissa Mayer was the twentieth employee hired by Google, and she worked as a 'Googler' for thirteen years. She has an undergrad. and masters degrees from Stanford University. She has some outstanding credentials, but her next corporate move may be a mystery. Marissa Mayer sets an example of a female CEO, that led a company which had problems before she took over the reins. In February 2008, Microsoft made the $45 billion offer to buy Yahoo for its search engine capabilities. In Bill Gates final days as CEO and Chairman, Yahoo snubbed him and Microsoft. In this case, Yahoo should have agreed to be acquired by Microsoft in 2008. Yahoo would have been sold, for almost 9 times their current value. While at Yahoo, Marissa Mayer read every résumé before hiring a new employee. It may be up to 50 of these documents, which she would peruse daily. If she read 50 resumes daily, she should be owning her executive search recruitment agency next year. No joke! One of her next moves should be in venture capital, as she could work with KPCB (Kleiner Perkins caufield byers) or benchmark capital. Many of the former CEOs join the big VC's to continue their entrepreneurial ways of living. Finally, Marissa had a passion for listening to the employees. One of her favorite tasks was to ask the employees, about their next big idea. If you had many ideas, would you put them down on paper or leave them by the wayside? Humans are known to 'think big'; so strong ideas make the world a better place if they are implemented correctly. Lastly, see the image above of Marissa Mayer's pseudo résumé. It is craftily written in an impressive manner. Readers take note, as you may learn a lot about the Stanford alumnus.

Theresa May is the new PM in United Kingdom; and can HRC become new President of US soon!

Theresa May became the new Prime Minister six days ago, in London as David Cameron is leaving 10 Downing Street. Since Theresa is the new PM, does her office promotion mean an easy path for Hillary Rodham Clinton for the US presidential race? Let's run down the female leaders of the world, starting with Angela Merkel (Europe's strongest woman in power). Angela Merkel has been in power in Germany, Europe's economic bellwether; since 2005. That's 11 years of good laws in Europe's strongest economy. Let's not forget Christine Lagarde, the IMF managing director. IMF is not a foreign country, but the International Monetary Fund is '189 countries working together to stabilize monetary devices.' If you are from Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon is a home country name. She is the first minister of Scotland, and the leading lady in power. Myanmar (formerly Burma) is back in the limelight, as Aung San Suu Kyi is a Nobel Peace Prize leader in a new democracy in Yangon. Finally, Taiwan has a female leader in Tsai Ing-Wen. She is the new president of Taiwan since January of this year. Tsai is a Cornell University grad. and she was former Mayor of Taipei. Taiwan was my home for three years in the 1980s, and my family remembers the three good years in the island nation. As a recap, seven world leaders have been mentioned in this post. The nations of Taiwan, Germany, UK, Myanmar, and Scotland are in this post. Christine Lagarde is IMF chief, and she is a former French lawyer. Recently, the IMF cut global growth by almost 1% due to the recent 'Brexit' disaster. In the world's mind, surviving 'Brexit' is the next task for Theresa May to undertake. She leads England, and Wales through one of the toughest times since World War II. Hope you the reader enjoyed this post. In less than four months, American voters will vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Rodham Clinton. May Hillary become the first female President of the strongest world economy. Enjoy the picture above of 10 Downing Street, London. It is the new home of Theresa May, and the former home of Margaret Thatcher (and other prominent Prime Ministers of UK including David Cameron, John Major, and Tony Blair). Au revoir!

KD sweepstakes are over; plus other NBA free agent signings, trades too

Five days ago, Kevin Durant announced his decision to leave Oklahoma City. He signed with the Golden State Warriors for a 2 year deal, worth $54.3 million. But, his contract is not the richest one in these crazy NBA free agent signings. Mike Conley Jr. signed a 5 year deal, worth $153 million to stay with the Memphis Grizzlies. This contract is the largest one in NBA history. Many people faulted KD for signing with Golden State, as he joined the team that beat OK City in the 2016 NBA western conference finals. He broke up the collaborative duo of Westbrook and Durant, two of OK City's finest. In other NBA trades and signings, Derrick Rose is going to play for NY Knicks next year; along with his former Chicago teammate, Joakim Noah. Jeremy Lin signed with the Brooklyn Nets. Then, there's the huge news that Dwyane Wade signed with the Chicago Bulls for a two year deal. Finally, Pau Gasol is signing with the San Antonio Spurs for a two year deal. It makes San Antonio stronger, so they can compete with Golden State. Speaking of the Warriors, they lost Leandro Barbosa and other key players. Here's the list of former Warriors: Festus Ezeli, Brandon Rush, Leandro Barbosa, Andrew Bogut, Harrison Barnes, and Marreese Speights. In addition to Kevin Durant signing with Golden State Warriors, Zaza Pachulia and David West signed with the Warriors in the past few days. There are a lot of deals, which were not mentioned in this blog post. The NBA 2016-2017 season is only 105 days aways. Hope the Cleveland Cavaliers do not repeat as NBA champions. The warriors might be the favorite, according to the Las Vegas bettors. Hope you like the picture above of Luol Deng, the former Miami Heat player. He is leaving Miami for the LA Lakers, in a four year deal. Lakers signed Timofey Mozgov, and they received Jose Calderon from the Chicago Bulls. Hope the Lakers can improve their winning percentage next year, with the new additions.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel exhorting Hollande, Renzi to keep EU together

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is one of the most powerful female leaders in the world. She is urging France, Italy and other EU nations to collaborate on peace keeping moves during the 'Brexit' crisis. Five days ago, Great Britain made the shocking decision to leave the European Union. Global stock markets went into a selling frenzy for the past two trading days, following the ridiculously close vote in Great Britain for exiting EU. The UK has been a close ally to the US, and Great Britain would leave the EU in 2018 officially. IMF Director Christine Lagarde is calling on Bank of England, and ECB (European Central Bank) to attain financial stability. Meanwhile, Francois Hollande met with Italian premier Matteo Renzi to discuss the EU's next move in Berlin, Germany. Almost 52% voted to leave EU, while 48% voted to stay in EU per EU referendum results on 6-24-2016. In terms of the US presidential candidates thoughts on Brexit, Hillary Clinton was in the 'stay in the EU' camp. Republican candidate Donald Trump is quite happy that 'Brexit' is happening. Finally, David Cameron is resigning as PM of Great Britain. In October 2016, the people of Great Britain will have a new Prime Minister. Cameron is leaving after six years, and he believes that a fresh wave of leadership is needed. Will the UK be able to avoid an economic fallout from the 'Brexit' crisis? This result is yet to be determined, and the global economy needs to avoid recession in 2016 and 2017. Boris Johnson, the ex-London mayor, is a front runner for PM in the minds of many UK voters. The value of the UK pound has dropped over the past few days, and the British pound is losing its value quickly. Enjoy the picture above of David Cameron, and Samantha Cameron. Samantha looks sad, as her husband is announcing his decision to leave the PM position.

Are you familiar with Brexit? Vote on Britain to stay in EU

On June 23, the citizens of the UK may not be part of the European Union. The country of Britain will hold a referendum on June 23, 2016; on whether to leave the European Union. This referendum is nicknamed 'Brexit' for today's informative folks. ‘Brexit’ is Britain exiting the European Union. No joke intended! Seriously? The European Union consists of 28 nations. Britain has been a member since 1973. After 43 years, the country will vote on whether to keep its membership in 'Europa.' Europa is another fun moniker of Europe. Ireland became a member of the European Union in 1973 also. If the European Union loses England, the economy of the 28 nations will suffer. For the British citizens, it is beneficial to stay in the EU. It is from a good economic and social standpoint, that the citizens should vote to stay in the EU. Companies like JP Morgan will lose valuable employees in London, if the Brexit becomes a reality. Jamie Dimon, current JP Morgan CEO, mentioned that 4,000 employees would lose jobs if Brexit is passed. 'Brexit' may put the European economy, and the global economies into a better chance of global recession. David Cameron has been Prime Minister of the UK, since May 2010. His tenure in office needs to continue, and Brexit does not need to ruin his time in office. Enjoy the picture above of the European Union. It is from www.europa.eu, the website for European Union. The picture is the European Union emblem. Keep the European Union together, and with 28 nations at this time.

Warriors back in NBA Finals! Cavs vs. Warriors rematch

The Cleveland Cavaliers will play the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA finals. The teams will play game 1 on Thursday night in Oakland, CA. The Warriors were down 3-1 to the oklahoma city thunder, in the western conference finals. They won the last three games in convincing fashion. The warriors played like a resilient bunch, throughout the western conference finals. As for the Cleveland Cavaliers, it's the seventh finals trip for Lebron James. The cavaliers lost two games only, in the first three rounds. Last year, the Cavaliers lost to the Warriors in six games in the NBA finals. This year, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving will start for the Cavaliers. Last year, both players were injured in different parts of the playoffs. The cavaliers lost both regular season meetings to the Warriors. Will Lebron James win his third championship, or can Stephen Curry win his second championship? The NBA critics are calling this series a rematch made in heaven. The teams are evenly matched up. The Warriors need Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, as two additional components in another championship season. The Cavaliers will rely on J.R. Smith and Tristan Thompson, to be the extra two pieces for them to be champions. Hope the Finals is another spectacular series to watch. The picture above of Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry shows the great relationship, between the NBA coach and the two time MVP guard.

Republican Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz suspends campaign

Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz lost in the Indiana primary tonight. Ted Cruz is ending his presidential campaign, as he lost to front-runner Donald Trump. Cruz worked hard to appeal to conservative voters, especially evangelicals. But as the primaries wore on, he lost even those voters to Donald Trump. Ted Cruz was the first GOP candidate to launch his bid for the Presidency. At the end of April, Cruz had picked Carly Fiorina to be his running mate for Vice President. Yet, she will not be in the mix now. John Kasich is the only person that can stop Trump, in 'the Donald's quest to be the GOP candidate' for 2016 presidency. The GOP convention is in Cleveland in July 2016. California is one of the final states for Donald Trump to win, and their state primary is in June 2016. In the Indiana primary, Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton on the Democratic party end. The results are in, but this victory might be a late one for Bernie. Many Democratic political pundits are favoring Hillary to win the Democratic party nomination. Could the election in November pit Trump vs. Clinton? Enjoy the picture above of Ted Cruz, and the capitol building. Election day is six months away.

Can the Golden State Warriors win 73 games? Warriors can do it!

Well, it's time for the NBA regular season to end. The NBA season will end in less than two weeks. The Golden State Warriors are five wins away from breaking the Chicago Bulls record, of most wins in a regular season. The Golden State Warriors have 68 wins in 75 games. The NBA predictors are picking the Warriors to not break the record, as are many NBA sportswriters. The Warriors last loss was on Friday night to Boston. The game was a tight one, and the warriors lost by three. Hope the warriors break the record, as it would be another incredible goal the team has reached. The warriors will play San Antonio two more times, during their final six games of the regular season. Speaking of the Spurs, the team is undefeated at home this year. The spurs will count on reserves to lead them to victory, against the warriors. Their coach plans to rest the starters, during those two games. The NBA playoffs is an exciting time of the year for me always. The spurs and warriors will get the top two seeds, in the western conference. Lastly, Stephen Curry is having another MVP season. He leads the league in scoring. He broke the NBA record for 3 point shooting this year too. NBA Sportswriters believe that he should be in Most Improved Player award conversations, as well. Even though the Phoenix Suns and LA Lakers are my favorite teams, the Warriors are exciting to watch. These reasons are why the NBA is fun to watch. Ben Carson endorsing Donald Trump!

Ben Carson has dropped out of the Presidential Race for 2016. Today, the retired neurosurgeon endorsed Donald Trump for President. Donald Trump appears to be the front-runner for the Republican Party. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are dueling it out for the top choice. With eight months left before the election, both parties will have a final candidate from each side. Marco Rubio, John Kasich, and Ted Cruz are battling Trump for the Republican nomination. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders appear to be dueling it out on the Democratic side, with Miami being the most recent debate venue. Next, Ohio and Florida are the next two primaries for the Democratic side. Florida, Ohio, and Illinois are the next three primaries for the Republican side. Hope that John Kasich and Ted Cruz can battle Trump, in the next debate. In closing, the presidential race is heating up. Enjoy the picture above of 'presidential race 2016.'

Australian Open 2016 recap!

The Australian Open ended yesterday for tennis fans. Novak Djokovic won his sixth Australian Open title. Angelique Kerber won her first Australian Open title, in a stunning upset of Serena Williams. Both finals were hard to watch, as Melbourne is many hours ahead. In the men's side, Novak D. beat Andy Murray again. This time, the match lasted three sets only. The match was a good clash, of the top 2 players. Novak beat Roger Federer in the semifinals, in four sets. It was good to see Roger get a set off of Novak. Hopefully, Roger can win the match in their next encounter. There were a good amount of upsets, on the women's side. Serena Williams was hoping to win the title, and she would have tied Steffi Graff for 22 grand slam titles. Yet, Serena was denied by Angelique in three tough sets. Serena should be able to capture another title this year, to equal Steffi's record. Serena was gracious in defeat. In closing, the tournament was another good opening grand slam for 2016. The next grand slam tournament is the French Open, in May 2016. Enjoy the picture above, as it is a logo from the Australian Open.
