Golden State Warriors win NBA finals for fourth title in eight years

On June 16, the Golden State warriors won the NBA finals against the Boston Celtics. Golden State lost game 1 on their home court in Chase Center, in San Francisco. Yet, they found a way to win four out of the last five games in the series. The Warriors won game 6 on June 16, in Boston in convincing fashion. Boston won two out of the frst three games, and they appeared to be in contol until game 4 started. In the second half of game 4 in Boston, the Warriors and Stephen Curry found a way to even up the series. In this paragraph, let's discuss Stephen Curry's 43 points in game 4. In game 4, Curry and his teammates were down most of the game until the end of the 4th quarter. With Boston up by 4 (90-86), the Warriors went on a twenty one to seven run to close out the game by score of 107-97. In the final four minutes, Boston missed many key shots. Andrew Wiggins had a good defensive game on Jayson Tatum, and Wiggins scored some key baskets at the end of the game. With the game 4 victory, the momentum shifted back to Golden State and game 5 in Chase Center on June 13. In contrast, game 5 was a dismal shooting night for Stephen Curry. Curry missed all of his three point shot attempts, and he scored less than 20 points. Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins were the leading scorers in game 5. Wiggins scored twenty six points, and Thompson had twenty one points in game 5. Celtics fans would have thought that they could win the game, with Curry missing all his three point attempts. Jordan Poole provided a good scoring spark off the bench, for the Warriors. In game 2 and game 6, Draymond Green scored some key baskets to help the Warriors to victory. Green scored 12 points in game 6, which was his highest scoring outpout. Green did commit six fouls in three of the Finals games, which means he fouled out of those games. Green was not ejected from game 2, even though he did commit a technical foul early in the game. His on court demeanor in game 2 was a late spark for the Warriors to win game 2. In this penultimate paragraph, let's discuss Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum scoring differences. Jaylen Brown was the scoring leader for the Celtics. But, Tatum struggled as he committed 100 turnovers in the playoffs. In game 1 and game 6, Tatum struggled to score points in key stretches for Boston. Other players such as Al Horford and Marcus Smart did provide good scoring for the Celtics. Overall, the Celtics were beaten by a better Warriors team. In closing, the Celtics were denied their chance to win an 18th championship. The Celtics can learn from this series loss. The Warriors won their first title since 2018, when Finals MVP Kevin Durant led them to a series victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Stephen Curry won his first finals MVP trophy. The Finals series was another fun one for me to watch. Good day!

Reading John Grisham's books, and seeing some movies from John Grisham's books

Back in the early 1990s, 'The Firm' became a hit movie and it was a John Grisham novel. This book was published in 1991, and it is the first John Grisham novel that I read. The movie is a thriller, and the book is a must read. In 1996, 'A Time to Kill' was a hit movie at the box office. This movie was another good John Grisham book. This book was published in 1989, and it is another John Grisham novel that I enjoyed reading. Next, Matt Damon starred in the 1997 film called 'The Rainmaker.' This movie is another good novel by Grisham, which was published in 1995. I enjoyed reading the book, and this movie was not a hit at the box office. If you are a fan of Julia Roberts, then 'The Pelican Brief' is a movie that you may want to see. This movie was another novel by Grisham, that I did read. Yet, it's one that I did not enjoy reading. In addition, Grisham wrote 'The Client'; 'The Chamber'; and 'The Runaway Jury'; which are novels that I did like. I read those books, and the movies were not as good as the novels. Grisham wrote 'A Painted House'; 'Skipping Christmas'; and 'Playing For Pizza'; which are novels that I read for pleasure. The latter book is based in Italy, and it is about football which was a plus for me to read it. Not all of John Grisham's are about law. The book titled 'Bleachers' is a book based on Messina High School football, which I did enjoy reading. In this penultimate paragraph, John Grisham wrote about Theodore Boone in seven novels that are in the young adult novel genre. Grisham has written twenty eight books on the New York Times best sellers list. Grisham writes short stories and non-fiction books, which shows his gamut for writing books. The different genres for John Grisham's novels are legal thriller; crime fiction; southern gothic; baseball; basketball; and football. Grisham has written eighteen books, which I read for pleasure plus informational reasons. John Grisham is one author that I admire for writing books, from diverse genres.
